Ricky was educated at the University of Edinburgh, where he studied History; he also studied Film at NYU, before moving to Los Angeles where he began working as an Assistant Director, Line Producer and Editor on a number of independent projects, including UCB's comedy musical 'Freak Dance,' (2009) indie dramedy 'Five Star Day' (2008) and the award-winning Latino feature 'Mosquita y Mari.' (2011) In 2010, he began directing and producing his own projects. His 2011 Short 'The Stand-In' won best film at the California Film Festival and was nominated at the British Independent Film Festival. The film was based on his experience standing in for the inimitable Russell Brand on the set of 'Get Him To The Greek.' 'The Diner's Club' (2012) won him his second Best Film prize at a festival. (Vegas CineFest) Ricky wrapped production on his first feature film, 'Cora,' a horror-drama, in the fall of 2012. He currently produces and directs commercials for Break Media, an online original and branded content media outlet.
