Most of my life has been consumed with enjoying and protecting wild places. Ski bum, wildlife biologist, outdoor educator, guide, mountain biker, volunteer and advocate are all on my resume.
Currently I work for North Cascades Institute coordinating a 3-week Wilderness based Climate Change education program in North Cascades National Park for high school aged students. These exceptional students then return home tasked with spreading what they learned in their home communities. ncascades.org/programs/youth/climate_challenge/
While most of my summers are consumed by teaching in the mountains my winters are delegated to skiing as much as I can between writing grants and planning for the next summer. I love what I do and feel proud of my commitment to this planet, my hope is to continue following both my passion savor and safe wild places.
