I make art. I manipulate and shape information. Music makes my head work straight.

I’m an expressive portrait artist, an occasional photographer, a creative security architect, an online junkie, and someone who can’t always tell the difference between real and imagined.

I’ve also spent 20 years online and some of my most important human experiences growing up occurred in bits and bytes.

Through those experiences, I also have both a personal and professional interest in technology, art, and in the process of cultural integration of new technology into “stuff that works”. Things we forget about. I’m interested in the creation of and interaction with art that doesn’t distinguish between itself and any other “old” tools used to create art. I like to see moving images framed behind museum quality glass hanging from a wall. I enjoy the idea of traditional tools being used as part of the creation of what would otherwise be considered “new technology” art.

I’ve also run an art gallery in the virtual world Second Life as means to connect the tangible with the imagined in a more direct way.
