James Fair
I produced and directed two my first short films at university - "So Alone" (2001) and "Heaven Sent" (2002). Upon leaving I worked upon a variety of productions in various capacities until I produced and directed "Nighshift" (2004) with Gabby Morton Jones, a series of short documentaries for Channel Four's '3 Minute Wonder' strand (then 'The Slot'). Frustrated with the short film format, I worked with Gabby to produce and direct a micro budget feature called "Peppermint" (2006). I have followed this up with two feature documentaries called "Me, My Boss, A Farmer & His Son" (2007) and "Nevermind Qaddafi..." (2008) and another feature drama "Watching & Waiting" (2008).

I completed an MA in Film Studies from University College Dublin in 2006 and I currently lecture in Film Technology at Staffordshire University, where I am also studying a PhD.
