Bill Holland began his career doing volunteer work on occasion at a local cable station in Michigan. Shooting his first feature at age 15, he went on to study Digital Cinema at Northern Michigan University and receive a BS. While at Northern, he received an MAB award for PSA work, and also an Award from the Kennedy Center for a Sound Design and Score he co-created with Joe Rayome.

After a brief stint at Columbia College, Bill went on to work as a freelance lighting and sound tech, working on shows ranging from large-scale concerts to a White House Press Conference. During this time, he also worked part time for Stone Road Productions, Inc., editing and shooting second camera on their internationally syndicated TipVision series which included segments with Bally's, Whole Foods Market, and Best Buy.

For the past year or so, Bill has been one of the producer/editors at Gearwire.com.
