Since 2005, Danakil's photographs and video-installations have been shown at the French Art Is Not Dead exhibitions in Europe ; at the Lyon Biennale ; at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Shanghai ; at Agnes B., Hong-Kong ; at the Teen/Spirit show in Melbourne ; and in Paris at the Galerie 208.

Since last year, he has directed music-videos for The Micronauts, The Penelopes, Y.A.S/Mirwais, and Poni Hoax...
