Jason Colquhoun

I'm a Helicopter Pilot in Valley Center, California, and work primarily in agricultural aviation and aerial filming. Prior to working in the helicopter industry, I worked in film and photography based in New York City. I've worked freelance as a photographer with magazines such as Esquire, Sports Illustrated, Men's Journal and Outside magazine and also worked on various television productions.

My work in Aerial Application is very satisfying, and helping the American farmer is one of the proudest things in my life. Farming is a pure thing, and these people are the most genuine people I've had the pleasure to meet. One of my biggest pursuits these days is to educate people on modern farming techniques, and help them understand the role of crop protection in today's agricultural practices, whether they be Organic or Conventional farming methods.

My interests outside of work revolve entirely around my wife Lorie and 11 year old son Grant, from cycling trips to long days enjoying the beach near Carlsbad, CA.
