Valerie LeBlanc
BIO
Valerie LeBlanc is a pluridisciplinary artist whose work fluxes between media arts, performance and the plastic arts. Often creating videopoems, many of these works emphasize the importance of non-spectacular time, the significance of the day-to-day, and the beauty present in available aesthetic.
Since the late 1990's, she has been publishing writing and media arts projects on the web. On occasion, LeBlanc curates work, the most recent example being the MPB CURATES 2007 project.
Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Valerie lived and worked in Calgary, Alberta from 2000 - 2008. Since June, 2008 she has lived in Moncton, NB.
