Maya Chowdhry
A founder member of the Edinburgh Fringe Film Festival, I’ve always had a love of film; its ability to consume, seduce and question life. My early photography travelled from the cairngorms to Kathmandu and back again. My interest in digital media began with the web and digital writing. I was interested in hypertext and the making of visual stories; where the reader became a viewer and, through interacting with the work, part of the fabric of the story. My current work is site-specific installation that uses digital media to extend the story.
