Claudio was born and raised in Westchester County, NY. He currently resides in Brooklyn and Los Angeles. Having spent several years traveling abroad, as well as living and working for a time in Paris and the Middle East, Claudio's unique eye translates into a distinct and contemporary visual aesthetic.
A graduate of the Directors Program at Tisch School of The Arts - New York University, Claudio started his professional career in Beverly Hills assisting the prolific independent film producer Edward R. Pressman. Working on such films as “The Island of Doctor Moreau” with Marlon Brando, “Judge Dredd” with Sylvester Stallone, and “City Hall” with Al Pacino, helped shape the direction and tone of the projects Claudio would later start to develop on his own.
Claudio has been instrumental in developing projects for other independent producers. He also worked as a Junior Manager to some of young Hollywood early in his career as well as being an in demand Creative Director later on for Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Mark Anthony, and Paulina Rubio to name a few before he transitioned full time into his directing career.
Forming the Production Company CONCRETE.INC in 2009 to direct and produce films, CONCRETE.INC owns the rights to several novels, articles, and biographies and is currently developing one of the earlier masterpieces by notorious Italian author Gabriele D’Annunzio, “The Book Of The Virgins” from 1884 for James Franco and Marisa Berenson. Claudio is currently editing his first feature film, a Documentary on the renowned architect Peter Marino titled "Beauty, Power and Leather: Peter Marino and his revered world of Luxury" which will have it's debut during the 2014 Venice Film Festival.
