20 days agoJoseph Jang commented on in DSLR Cinemai've used the glidecam 4000pro, which is the old version before the HD. no arm and vest. just handheld. it can get pretty heavy after awhile, especially if your camera is heavy to begin with. if you're using a dslr, then go with the 2000 unless ur planning to add some additional weight onto it. honestly, ur never going to use it for a straight 10 mins. u use it to get ur shot and then u rest. but still, u do that for hours and it can be weary on your forearm and wrist. for me, it was a bit heavy when i started but i've gotten accustomed to it so it's not so bad anymore. hope that helps. feel free to ask away dude.

20 days agoJoseph Jang commented on in DSLR Cinemano, my sequence settings matched the footage. it's weird because it only does that for certain portions of a clip and not all the time. it's just uncontrollable behavior and it sucks. makes me want to convert to fcp.

20 days agoJoseph Jang commented on in DSLR Cinemagood question. my best guess is that premiere doesn't like the avchd codec too much. i've seen that happen in a few of my other projects as well. gotta be a problem with the avchd codec and premiere cs4. sucks.
