Van Alan Blumreich is a filmmaker from Houston, TX. He has directed numerous music videos for labels such as EMI, Universal Music Group, and Warner Music Group, as well as numerous independent artists. Some of these artists include Better Than Ezra, Copeland, Regina Belle, The Presidents of the United States of America, Maylene & the Sons of Disaster, etc. His work has been seen on MTV2, HDNet, FuseTV, as well as featured on websites such as MySpace, Rolling Stone, and for purchase on iTunes.
Van has also produced and directed several short films. IMPRINT was selected by the Independent Film Channel (IFC) as one of the finalist in the Assassin's Creed Short Film Contest. His latest short film, "FURY" was selected to partake in the 2009 Texas Filmmakers Showcase and screened at film festivals such as the L.A. Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, and even Cannes!
