VCUarts Cinema is a 3 year, production-intensive undergraduate program that prepares students for careers in the professional commercial and independent film industries. Students self-produce each film and work hands-on with state of the art film making equipment under the guidance of a seasoned faculty.

The program is headed by Dr. Rob Tregenza, who has written and directed three features including "Inside/Out" (1997), which was produced by Jean-Luc Godard and screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival.
