Velocity Dance Center is a Seattle-based non profit organization that pushes the field of contemporary dance forward. By nurturing and supporting new voices and fresh work of both emerging and established artists, offering adult dance education, and presenting innovative dance, Velocity is the cornerstone of Seattle’s dance community. We believe that contemporary dance enriches and inspires people’s lives, and high-quality contemporary dance needs to be accessible to our entire community.
