VELOX NUR is the conception of computer aided artist, vintage drum machine and keyboards junky, producer and marketer William “HASAN” Robinson. Located in California, U.S.A. His music is a combination of AVANT-GARDE, OTHER, ECLECTIC, ELECTRONIC, ABSTRACT, MINIMAL, SAMPLED, MIDI, NU-JAZZ, BROKEN BEAT & HIP HOP with a blend of blues & electric soul. He dubs it “ECLECTRIC”.

Independently self-producing & publishing for URBAN SUFI MUSIC. He also is a designer of experimental video and cinema sound, conceptually drawing from based Mono-Salvaged light Film Music, Abstract Cinema, Dada and Surrealism. :By Design has been involved in Northern California’s underground hip-hop movement since 1996. Establishing 4 independent record labels. And Releasing over 30 albums from various artist as well as himself. Along the way he has worked with notables such as Dj Shadow, James Lavelle, Dj Ralph M, Blend Crafters, Fanatik and more.

He is also known as the force and voice behind Autolect. While releasing several recordings under various pseudonyms ( see: AHMM, Autolect and His Meltdown Movement & Usephasan ).
