I’m a 25 year old college graduate from Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television. I currently live in Nashville, TN with my beautiful wife Audrey.

EXPERIENCE

While the majority of my experience is in Non-Linear Editing (which I’ve been doing for the past 10 years), I’m also a colorist, motion graphics artist, and VFX artist. As a colorist, I interned at EFILM Digital Laboratories as a color assistant, where I assisted and learned from colorists like Mike Hatzer and Steve Scott. I’ve also received certification from The International Colorist Academy in their colorist strategies class. In 2008, I interned at Zoic Studios as a VFX intern. I’ve worked on numerous award-winning student films, music videos, and documentaries as a colorist, editor, title designer, motion graphics artist, and VFX artist.

POST PRODUCTION SKILLS

Primarily I use either Premiere Pro CS6 or FCP 7 for editing, DaVinci Resolve for color grading, and After Effects for motion graphics and compositing. That said, I’m well versed in Apple’s entire Final Cut Studio (including Final Cut Pro, Color, Motion, DVD Studio Pro, and Shake), Adobe’s Creative Suite (specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition), and Apple’s new Final Cut Pro X. Lastly, I’m also familiar with Autodesk’s Smoke for Mac 2013 and Luster (or, more specifically EFILM’s variant, EWorks).

OTHER HOBBIES

Other hobbies of mine include: graphic design, web design and coding, live video (IMAG) production, video and audio system installation, photography, video games, and drums.
