Videotect is an annual Architecture Minnesota magazine video competition. This year's topic is sustainable transportation and its enhancement through design. Video entries need to be 30-120 seconds in length. All entries are due January 23, 2012. Online viewing and voting is February 1-10, 2012 with the final screening event on March 1, 2012 at the Walker Art Center. Prizes include $2000 Grand Prize, $2000 Viewers' Choice, and four $500 Honorable Mentions. The jury consists of MPR arts reporter Marianne Combs, Minneapolis TOD director David Frank, Walker Art Center film curator Sheryl Mousley, and Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle architect Jeffrey Scherer.
