The Cavalry is a Northern Virginia-based expansion franchise set to begin play in the North American Soccer League in 2014. The team's home games will be held at the One Loudoun ballpark at the interchange of Route 7 and the Loudoun County Parkway in Ashburn, VA, a venue it will share with the Loudoun Hounds Professional Baseball Club, which is owned by VIP Sports & Entertainment.
The Cavalry will operate a developmental youth soccer academy, encompassing several of the region's largest youth soccer organizations, with the goal of encouraging strong growth in athletics and academics for all soccer-playing youngsters of Northern Virginia.
