“Who is Vector Meldrew?”

Vector Meldrew seems less concerned with ‘whos’ or ‘whats’, chosing rather to pour his passions into ‘how’. Some say he has no physical form, existing only through the output of his graphical creativity. Others talk of him as the antichrist, delaying the coming apocalypse whilst his devastating power is occupied disentangling video cord. A few even suggest that Vector Meldrew is in fact a talented cluster of design specialists, vision editors, animators and music buffs, but then some people will believe anything.

One thing is certain. Vector Meldrew’s work has gained him reputable clients such as adidas, levi’s and Rolls Royce, working by day as a designer / motion graphics specialist and by night as a VJ who’s visuals have glinted across the transfixed eyes of shape-pulling ravers at Switzerlands Mapping Festival, illuminated the Stuk arts centre in Belgium alongside Dubstep pioneer Headhunter, and provided the technicolour sheen for adidas’ 2012 Olympic party-starter in the O2 dome. Whether he’s moulding branded motion graphics for clients such as über-cool Apple Pips records, or thrilling muddied party-goers at Glastonbury Festival, Vector Meldrew is always ready to twiddle and tweak his idiosyncratic blend of 3D, video and purpose made graphics.

You can say he’s a God amongst men, or you can simply say you “don’t beliieeeve it”. Either way, if you have a problem, if no one else can help and if you can find him, maybe you can hire – Vector meldrew (hint: try email).

p.s. his real name is Alex
