I used my Rode NTG-2 Shotgun Mic very specifically placed. I wanted to pick up some of the noise of the morning (the birds chirping, cars going by, etc.).

I'm pretty happy with the timelapse shots. I was originally going to shoot the sunrise but it was hidden behind the clouds so I went with the city instead. Overall it went much better than my last attempt. Those timelapses never have (nor will) see the light of day.
