On 9th August 2010 Ed Stafford became the first man in history to walk the entire length of the Amazon River. He, and his assistant Cho (who had walked with Ed for all but four of the 28 months), ran into the Atlantic Ocean and into the record books.

Sir Ranulph Fiennes described the achievement as "truly extraordinary".

Ed is conducting a theater tour of the UK in June which ties in with the release of his book "Walking the Amazon".
