I started "Red Dragon Productions" because I saw an opportunity to preserve my friends and family's heritage in video. Specifically old 8 & Super 8MM film that is no longer played by anyone.
I'm always looking for that 8MM pot of video gold setting on somebody's shelf covered in dust.
True excitement is realizing that the person in the 8MM video that you are digitizing for a older family friend is you on your first birthday. The kid looks up at you from half a century ago, your eyes make contact and your hair stands up on the back of your neck.
Video is a time machine to the past, you always appreciate what you see now more than you ever could when it was shot.
