This channel contains videos produced by members and friends of the Windsurfing Enthusiasts of Tidewater (aka WET), showcasing windsurfing in the lower Chesapeake Bay area of Virginia, Cape Hatteras, and beyond.

WET is an active club which serves as the voice of windsurfers in the area and as a contact for those interested in the sport. We work in cooperation with United States Windsurfing (uswindsurfing.org) to see that launch sites stay accessible to us, as well as addressing legal matters (such as PFD regulations). We host several regattas each year, in addition to swap meets, clinics, and weekend trips to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Yearly trips to windsurfing sites throughout the sailing world are also held, as you'll see in some of the videos on this channel. We also help keep several of the local beaches clean.

Whether you are a seasoned windsurfer or just interested in finding out more about our sport, we'd be happy to have you join us in any of our activities.
