Wicked Delicate Films was founded by Ian Cheney & Curt Ellis. ("Wicked Delicate" is among the highest compliments paid to top-notch blueberry pies in certain pockets of mid-coast Maine.) Their first short documentary, TWO BUCKETS, aired on WGBH-Boston in 2006. They created the feature documentary THE GREENING OF SOUTHIE (greeningofsouthie.com), broadcast on Earth Day on the Sundance Channel in 2007, and their latest film, THE CITY DARK (thecitydark.com), a feature documentary about light pollution, premiered at SXSW 2011 and is in festivals now. Ian & Curt also co-created, co-produced, and starred in Mosaic Films' feature documentary KING CORN (kingcorn.net), broadcast nationally on PBS in 2007 and released theatrically in over 50 cities.
In 2011, Curt began devoting most of his time to running FoodCorps, a farm and advocacy project co-founded by Curt, Ian, and others in the farm and food world (foodcorps.org).
Ian continues to run Wicked Delicate Films with a small but dedicated team in Brooklyn, NY.
