1 month agoWide Angle Youth Media commented on PopularHi, Thanks for the comment. Making this film was a really interesting process. There's something about the formal process of video production that can encourage people to dig deep and reflect very seriously on their experience.
Once the students got in front of the camera with a big microphone dangling above them, they really started to open up in ways that they hadn't previously. At that moment, under the heat of the video lights, they realized how seriously their peers were taking their stories.
It looks like you are also teaching media in Baltimore. We'd love to connect with you at some point and have you come to a screening of our students' work or vice versa. -
