A forest fire is a primeval power, decimating nearly everything in its path. But once it has passed, new life starts to grow from the ashes. Something new must come from what once was lost.
Winhill/Losehill worked four years on their debut album "Swing of Sorrow". The album grew out of the grievance process of the loss of a family member. The music on "Swing of Sorrow" meets the listener with the power of all the conflicting emotions that such an event brings.
When the band played at the festival Umeå Open, Västerbottens Kurirens' review stated: "Those who have followed this band know that the song material is based in personal tragedy, but that's something the uninitiated can't possibly see. So powerful is the feeling of energy and reconciliation."
