I am one of those people that likes getting on planes... well I like getting to where I am going... the whole airport thing suuucks!
I am a 'global nomad'... (yes it is actually a real term - I googled it... so it must be true), and as such have lived in a number of countries, and traveled to a stack of others.
Have eaten and drank things that I wish I had not, but the adventure was worth the gag reflex, and the people met and sites seen along the way made the odd trip to the local medic and sitting on a crappy plane worth the trouble.
Current count is around 40 countries and over 600 cities. My criteria to count it... must have either spent the entire day there, or slept there. Just going through the airport does not cut it.
To see it you have to go. And I plan on going!
