BIOGRAPHY
Toronto based Wristpect, has quickly established himself as one of North America’s most sought after & in-demand DJs. A genuine love & appreciation for several genres of music has allowed him to remain extremely versatile in his endeavors, consistently captivating worldwide audiences along the way.

Focused on bringing quality music to the masses, Wristpect has played a-list events at world-renown venues, released award-winning mixtape collaborations, and has worked alongside some of today’s biggest & most influential music, lifestyle, fashion, and entertainment brands.

He has worked with and DJ’d events for the likes of Eminem, DJ AM, Drake, Lady Gaga, Usher, Mary J Blige, Busta Rhymes, Rihanna, Jazzy Jeff, Nas, Young Money, The Clipse, Justin Bieber, John Legend, Samuel L Jackson, Lebron James, Kim Kardashian, Adidas, Blackberry, Google, Sony-Ericsson, Hennessey, MTV, Playboy and many more.

Technical skill, paired with the unique ability to understand and cater to a broad crowd/demographic, has allowed Wristpect to maintain residencies at some of Canada’s best venues, on top of touring and playing dates throughout Toronto, New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Belgium, France, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Montreal, Vancouver, Costa Rica, and many more.

Never one to put himself in a box, Wristpect’s sets are always custom-tailored to the audience at hand and often encompass everything from hip hop, r&b, house, rock and reggae to electro, bmore, old school, funk, dance, 80s, etc.

Beyond his live performances and loyal mixtape following, Wristpect can also be heard via commercial radio in Toronto (Mixology Show Saturday Nights 9-10pm on FLOW 93.5 FM - flow935.com)

He has also lectured & performed at university/college ‘music & pop culture’ courses, and was a featured instructor at Canada’s only DJ School, ‘Scratchlab DJ Institute’.

Wristpect was recently awarded ‘Toronto DJ of the Year’ at the 2010 Stylus DJ Awards. The year before he was nominated ‘2009 Canadian Club DJ of the Year’ and joined Clinton Sparks’ ‘Smash Squad DJs’ coalition.
