Yachaywasi (ya-chai-wasi) films aim to provide thought provoking and innovative documentary films exploring world issues through the medium of film production, whilst pushing the boundaries of how documentary films are made and perceived.
By fusing artistic, cinematic and commercial values, yachaywasi films plan to pave the way for novel documentary film and the communication of ideas to an expanding market audience, ranging from the Art House and film buffs to mainstream television.
