Banality Dreams Plus
Banality Dreams is an interdisciplinary alliance of artists. It is essential for Banality Dreams to play with effects of authenticity and clear presence, whose aim is to touch and to move. Working with different media and forms of expression, the cooperation with amateur actors and theater pedagogical work, are part of the artistic search of Banality Dreams. Based on current themes, the search for a contemporary form of the comic is the core of the aesthetic research. In doing so, comic is not understood in the sense of comedy, but as an art form. The content plays with the tensions and borders between the banal and the profound, the absurd and the tragic, subtlety and platitude.
