Yota Morimoto

Yota Morimoto is a composer who resides in the Netherlands, undertaking a research at the Institute of Sonology. His works explore nonconventional approaches to generating and transmitting sound, implementing models of noise, turbulence and abstract machines. As a force multiplier of multimedia collective ibitsu, he has performed in major festivals and conferences such as NWEAMO, Transmediale and ICMC. Beside those activities, he has collaborated with musicians such as Frances Marie Uitti, Tatiana Koleva and Masato Suzuki.
