A program of Grand Street Community Arts, YouthFX seeks to inspire and empower youth in Albany’s South End neighborhoods through an understanding and hands-on exploration of the creative and technical aspects of digital film making. Focusing on visual storytelling, narrative structure, acting, camera skills, sound recording and editing techniques, YouthFX gives participants a chance to express themselves through the process of producing and screening their own short films.
