An animated 'drawing' constructed from a collection of coherent points of light generated by a scanning helium-neon laser projected onto, and through, a slowly rotating 1 x 1 x 1meter cube.
The 'full cube' version uses a much higher speed scan, covering the entire meter cubed structure.
Each point of light moves through the cubic volume tracing a pathway within that 'space'.
The 'drawing' appears to exist in three-dimensions and can be observed from multiple viewing positions (observers can walk around the drawing as if it were an object and view it from the front, side, back and any point between these).
Work developed and installed within the Summer Lodge 2013 - a two-week studio research residency within the School of Art and Design at Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, UK.
