The word Revive means to restore to life, or consciousness, to bring someone back to their senses, to bring back from the edge of death: to reinvigorate, refresh, energise, brace, fortify, strengthen, regenerate and renew. Some of the most influential British men and women to date are those who stood out from the crowd, who saw what others couldn’t see. In British history, there have been a mix of ordinary people doing the extraordinary, and in a lot of cases some pretty crazy stunts: Guy Fawkes blew up a Parliament building, the Beatles rocked Britain and the rest of the world, Diana Princess of Wales was judged to be a more influential Briton than Shakespeare himself, and from Bono to Bob Geldof and to Boris…some people just are simply unforgettable.
Today, we aim to be unforgettable too! Across more than 6 locations in the city centre, Londoners will fall prey to the #TheReviva, an outlandish dance move that we at CRC London believe will become unforgettable. The cause is JESUS and the purpose is to see a city REVIVED, a city turned back from the edge of death unto life. So watch out sunny London – it’s hot out here and so are we – expectant refreshment as we #Reviva YOU!
