The floods, which covered land the size of Britain at any one time over the 6 months it took to move down the country, took out buildings, hospitals, road systems, houses and livelihoods. The UN described it as the worst disaster humanity has faced for over 100 years, with over 20 million people affected. This documentary looks at the short and long term effects of the disaster as well as the efforts of a charity to help the many people in need.
