There are still ghosts permeating this place. It's not supernatural, but a thing of the mind and imagination. The horror of thinking that humanity can be tamed leads to unspeakable nightmares and very real tragedies.
One only has to read the human heart, through literature, to understand that the darkness, and the benevolent dreams of organizations and people who were trying to do the right thing, only lead to unfathomable suffering.
Only when we understand and live for the true "rights of man" can we mitigate the horrors of best intentions filtered through culture and bias.
