Thanks to my buddy Fred who answered my question "how would you model a soft-ice?" by five minutes later sending me this model, so I just went with that. Check him out at: vimeo.com/bluberry
So before packing up and taking a few weeks of vacation, I thought I'd wish y'all a happy summer with this chocolate sundae. The first thing I did after getting my hands on RF2014 was to try out Hy2-viscosity. I think it performs very nicely, so nice to be able to make these kinds sims more effectively, I think we all have nightmares sometimes about SPH-sims with substeps well into the thousands. It's also a first for me to use HY2 for smaller scale stuff, which is something I'll consider in cases like this from now on.
The sim probably could have used a smaller cell size since the edges are a little ugly sometimes, also maybe with a texture for friction on the cup the overflow would have looked more interesting, but other than that I'm happy for now. If you have any suggestions or constructive critique I'm open to hear it as always. That's all for now. Enjoy!
