'The Human Factor' is a multi-discipline intermedia performance project of the artists Harald Kimmig, Ephraim Wegner, Bernd Dudzik and Katja Wahl. The violinist Harald Kimmig performs musically and bodily within an apparently empty space, a "white cube" made of gauze. It represents some kind of individual "communication space" - where the exchange of information is taking place. It is completely digitally measured, acoustically and visually entirely detected and continuously modified by live-processing (sound/image/video). Thus a complex interactive network is created – which apparently gives the actor sufficient room to maneuver.
