***HD RECOMMENDED*** Fellow Arizona chaser Corbin Jaeger and I chased this monster thunderstorm near Chuichu, AZ on July 8, 2014. This storm rapidly intensified and had incredible structure, including a giant hail core, somewhat of a shelf cloud, and constant lightning. Shortly after nightfall, we saw what appeared to be a brief tornado illuminated by lightning. There was what looked like a debris cloud on the ground with a few "fingers" of cloud above it that could have been the funnel. It was very hard to tell; however, at the same time that we saw the possible tornado, radar reflectivity showed a nice hook echo and rotation, and the base velocity showed a fairly intense couplet. I have included still images of the possible tornado when illuminated by lightning, as well as radar and velocity images of the storm at the time of the possible tornado. Also, I apologize for the occasional obscene language!
