Charity Hicks speaking about the crisis the world is facing with Monsanto and other corporate presences dictating the food we eat. The only way to survive is working with community to sustain away from the system. We must "Wage Love" to have what our bodies need.
This event was October 12, 2013 in Detroit. The location - outside Senator Debbie Stabenow's office in Detroit.
Sadly Charity passed July 30, 2014 after being struck while waiting at a bus stop in New York City. She was to be speaking the next day at a Food Justice conference. Her presence in Detroit and beyond will continue to be felt - she's a sister to so many freedom fighters.
