Kyle Schwarber became Indiana's highest draft pick ever in Major League Baseball after being taken fourth overall by the Chicago Cubs. The left-handed power hitter out of Middletown, Ohio has been everything and then some in the early-goings playing in the Cubs farm system. After short stops in Boise, Idaho and Geneva, Illinois, Schwarber has been promoted on July 14th to High Single-A Daytona. There are still questions on whether he will catch or play the field but Schwarber's bat should undoubtedly help him climb the ranks quicker than many of the minor league players.
