A tale of rivalry at Aultmore Park Primary School which was screened to the whole school in 4K at the Vue Cinema in Easterhouse.

Competition winner Nicole Grant saw her Hollywood dreams come true to celebrate the first anniversary of Vue Glasgow Fort. Pupils were asked to design an exciting movie storyboard using “Hollywood comes to Glasgow Fort” as inspiration. Nicole's film Arianna was one of the three winning films to be produced. Two of which were produced by Production Attic.

We filmed the whole film in the school in glorious 4k using a RED Epic. We used kids from the school as extras and a real school talent show as the backdrop for the final scene.

Kieran Lancini, Vue PR & Publicity Manager, says, “There is clearly a vast amount of local filmmaking talent in Glasgow. It was a tough decision to pick our three winners from so many great entries. Since opening our doors last year, we’ve wanted to bring a little bit of Hollywood to Glasgow Fort. It’s been fantastic to be able to take this a step further and work with local children to help their aspiring Hollywood dreams come to life, while also working with passionate local filmmakers to make it happen.”
