My Father, the naturalist, has taught me to appreciate the earth and the world around us. To slow down. To relax. We can learn a lot from watching how nature perseveres despite adversity. How a slow and deliberate course correction can ensure long-term growth.
In a world which rewards those who act immediately with a knee jerk response, it's nice to spend time with Dad and be reminded that everything will work out if you just let nature take its course.
We visited Manitoulin Island last fall. It was part two in our Father/Son adventures. And I hope there will be many more to come. Love you Dad.
