For as long as a I can remember, racing has been the biggest passion in my life. When I was six years old, my parents brought home a 2-seater fun-cart that my brother and I would drive insanely fast around the cal-di-sac, getting on two wheels a lot of the time. After many complaints from the neighbors about the two kids racing through the neighborhood, I was presented with my first racing go-kart, a Phoenix Chassis that was raced by Ryan Hunter-Reay. From that point on, racing was my life. Between the ages of 6 and 16 I competed in hundreds of local races, won multiple Florida Divisional Championships and started to run competitively at the National Level, finishing my first season 6th in points while racing against future professionals like Marco Andretti and Graham Rahal. Due to financial reasons and parental guidance to focus on education, I stopped racing competitively in the middle of my second National season. After finishing high-school I went on to achieve two bachelor’s degrees; one from the University of South Florida and the other from Full Sail University, graduating this past December and recently landing a job in the Universal Studios Audio Department. Earlier this year I got back behind the wheel at the Orlando Kart Center and started racing in their rental “Speedy League”, which I am currently 3rd in points and this is where I am today. My main goal is to compete in the 2015 Florida Winter Tour’s Rotax Max Challenge. My first step will be to sell the car I’ve had since high school and purchase the kart and engine package. Step two will be to gain racing seat time at a few Ocala Gran Prix local club races this fall. Your contributions from this campaign will go towards traveling to Ocala, entry fees, race fuel and tires. After gaining this critical race experience, I will be ready to compete in next years Florida Winter Tour. Thank you for visiting my campaign at Dark Horse Pros and I would also like to invite you to visit and “Like” my Facebook page and follow me on twitter at SianoRacing. Thank you for watching.
