We follow the story of Bibi Goul Mossavi, from AAHYA (Australian Afghan Hassanian Youth Association Inc.) and the preparation of the new "flavours of afghan cooking" recipe book, a community capacity building project supported by Auburn City Council.
Acknowledgement, copyrights and many thanks are made here on behalf of AAHYA to the Art Gallery of NSW and Versus Media for their video footage and beautiful interview featuring Bibi. That video interview edit was produced for the recent AGNSW exhibition "Afghanistan - Hidden Treasures from the National Museum, Kabul" (March-June 2014). http://projects.artgallery.nsw.gov.au/afghanistan/video/
Design mpathé (Simon Alexander Cook) has added the kitchen segments for this promotion and is producing the "flavours of afghan cooking" recipe book (edition 1) with food images photographed by George Voulgaroulos for AAHYA, who are online at http://www.aahya.org.
The books is available for advance orders on http://igg.me/at/flavoursofafghan, online (tba) or AAHYA shortly..
