Synopsis 'A New Pavilion in Venice':
An (il)legal pavilion came into existence for the first time at the 54th Venice Biennale in 2011. The pavilion is a detour away from the conventional art route. Everyone in and outside the art-world acted as if nothing had happened and kept to the normal routines, while quietly cleaning the traces of the pavilion. In the days, weeks, months and years following, no one wrote, talked, nor made reports about the events and the pavilion. Now, after three years of silence, with this poetic and experimental film, for the first time, we look back through the archives and documentations of the events and feel in the same way as to whom this pavilion actually belongs.
