Module 1: Self Escape
This module was one of three modules made in 2006 for an Australian mine safety training company, Coal Services Pty Ltd.

The purpose of the module is for the trainer and trainees to evacuate a group of miners from a longwall mine due to a fire. The trainer guides takes the trainees through the protocol for save evacuation from a long wall.
Questions are presented at each desicion point, giving the trainer an opportunity to discuss the outcomes of different answers with the trainees.

Module 2: Hazard Awareness
This module was one of five modules which comprised the second iteration of module development with CSPL.
The module is a representation of a typical bord and pillar coal mine with over 20 common hazards located throughout. The user is required to explore the mine and identify each hazard. With each hazard, the user must identify what the hazard actually is, what the effects it are, and how to prevent the hazard.

Module 3: Spontaneous Combustion
This module is another one of the five modules created in the second iteration of module development. The module requires the user to perform gas readings throughout a longwall coal mine to find the locations of five spontaneous combustion heatings. The user walks around the mine, taking readings at each stopping and interpets the readings to answer questions about the cause, location and prevention methods of spontaneous combustion.

Module 4: Isolation Inspection
This module is another one of the five modules created in the second iteration of module development. This module is made up of several scenarios requiring the user to isolate machinery following protocol, doing a job, then restarting the machinery safely. The user answers a series of questions relating to the isolation protocol, and must execute the steps in the correct order to successfully complete the scenario.

Module 5: Outburst Inspection
This module is another one of the five modules created in the second iteration of module development. The Outburst Inspection module shows the users what an outburst is, the effects of one, and educates the users in several potential indicators for outbursts.

Module 6: Deputies Inspection
This module is another one of the five modules created in the second iteration of module development. This clip of this module shown is one scenario within the Deputies Inspection module where a roof fall occurs and corrective action must be taken to allow mining to safely continue.

Module 7: Truck Pre-Shift Inspection
This module is one of the three modules made in the first iteration of the module development. The purpose of this module is to perform a pre-shift inspection of a truck to ensure its operational safety. Once the inspection is complete, the user is able to drive the truck to a shovel to collect material and dump it a dump site.
