The SEED Project is a non-profit based in Senegal that uses uses basketball as a tool to educate and develop the next generation of African Leaders. The SEED Project is made up of three core programs: SEED Academy (founded in 2002), Jr SEED and Live Learn and Play. SEED Academy is a boarding school environment for up to 40 boys an girls per year - which includes a top tier education, team-based basketball training, service projects and leadership development activities. In the past 10 years, 75% of SEED Academy graduates have gone on to four-year college and university. The young men featured in this video are some of the 35+ SEED Academy graduates studying in the United States.
