Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Alpha chapter was chartered at the University of Missouri in Columbia on May 17, 1966 by our seven distinguished Pearls.
The Mizzou Alphas were responsible for the creation of the Legion of Black Collegians, the only black student body government in the nation, and the chartering of the NAACP chapter at MU.
Zeta Alpha events, programs and initiatives include the Black Man's Think Tank, Alpha Tree, Buddy Packs, the Clarence B. Wine Oratorical Contest, Pharaoh's Feast and many others.
As the 2013 Missouri District Outstanding College Chapter of the Year and the 2013-2014 NAACP Coretta Scott King Organization of the Year, the Zeta Alpha chapter has upheld the fraternity aims of Manly Deeds, Scholarship and Love for All Mankind.
As one of the leading chapters in the Mighty Midwestern Region, the Mizzou Alphas continue its legacy of service and advocacy, and the continuous development of brotherhood amongst the chapter's leaders.
