This piece is for percussion ensemble, tape, and video. It is the first of ten works on Arrow To The Sun, an art-piece of eclectic design which focuses on love, thought, and enlightenment. All The World Is Green (a name borrowed from Tom Waits) describes life in our world -- a series of seemingly random events but remembered from one moment to another. The buildings are from all around Europe. The drawings represent echoic memory; rather than having a strong recollection of what we saw, only fragments of the event remain. The music plays through a series of rotations of instrumentation and genre for the percussionists, until they settle into the groove in the last section with the chordal tape accompaniment.
